Construction estimating for contractors nationwide
Valente Estimating partners with contractors to deliver fast, accurate, and confidential construction estimates. We don’t work for clients—we build partnerships that help you win more bids and grow your business with precision takeoffs and dependable turnaround.
Why choose us
A direct relationship with your estimator—built around speed, discretion, and the way your business actually works.
Our specialists focus on detailed estimating for a wide range of projects.
Thorough, trade-specific take-offs that cover all aspects of your job.
Estimates returned quickly — without sacrificing accuracy.
Your estimating partner is an extension of your business: direct, dependable, fully confidential, never double-bidding your project, and customizing every bid to you.
The full package
Every package separates contractor-only math from client-facing information. Both internal documents carry a prominent red “INTERNAL USE ONLY” stamp, so there is never any confusion about which files may be shared with your client—and your labor rates and margins stay protected.
Quantities by system, coverage calculations, order quantities, and consumables.
Internal Use OnlyLabor hours and rates, materials, direct costs, setup, cleanup, trips, overhead, profit, bond, and total.
Internal Use OnlyYour scope, assumptions, quantities, exclusions, and total contract value—without exposing labor rates or margins.
Reliable, detailed, and dedicated estimating services tailored for both general contractors and subcontractors.
Services
We don’t work for clients—we build lasting partnerships. From one-room paint scopes to multi-trade GC packages, your estimator works as an extension of your business without losing the documentation that protects your bid.
Material takeoffs
A clean, organized takeoff gives your team the quantities it needs to price, order, and execute the work.
Full bid packages
The full package connects field quantities, internal costs, and a polished proposal without exposing your rates or margin.
Trades served
Single-trade and general contracting packages are available across the United States.
Document control
Internal documents are clearly marked “CONFIDENTIAL: Internal Use Only.” Client-ready documents are identified separately, reducing the risk of a costly mis-send.
Every estimate is created for the individual contractor and project. Your numbers are never reused as someone else’s shortcut.
Projects are taken first come, first served. Once your trade on a project is accepted into the queue, it will not be estimated for a competing bidder.
Transparent pricing
Simple projects stay affordable. Larger scopes are priced for the detail, responsibility, and documentation they require.
Full bid package base pricing
Final tier is confirmed after the plans are reviewed. Takeoff-only options are available at a lower price.
One clean, simple scope completed in under an hour—such as one room of paint or a small deck. Paid in full upfront.

How it works
A straightforward process, clear checkpoints, plain assumptions and exclusions, and an estimating partner who remains reachable when questions come up.
Upload plans and share the trade, project details, location, and bid due date.
The documents are reviewed, the tier is confirmed, and you receive a project-specific quote. Any scope questions are raised early—not buried in the final package.
Approve the quote and pay the applicable deposit. Scheduling is first come, first served.
Pay the final balance, then receive clearly labeled internal files and the customer-ready bid in PDF format. Questions after delivery are welcome—JN stands behind the work.
Standard timeline
Most projects are completed in 4–7 business days, depending on the active queue and project scope.
Include the complete plan set, specifications, addenda, trade scope, project address, and bid due date.
You receive the confirmed package, price, schedule, and any questions needed to clarify scope.
RFIs, assumptions, exclusions, and material decisions are tracked and spelled out plainly. Changes that materially expand the work are discussed and quoted before proceeding.
You receive notice that the package is ready. The balance is due before final files are released. If a number or assumption raises a concern, call or email—questions are part of the partnership.
Send the plans early to protect your place in the queue.
Frequently asked questions
The essentials on trades, timing, deliverables, pricing, revisions, payment, and confidentiality.
Interior and exterior paint, wood and metal framing, roofing, drywall, flooring, windows and doors, and general contracting. Both single-trade and multi-trade GC packages are available.
Use the project intake page to upload your plans and project details, or email them directly to Valenteestimating@gmail.com. Include the trade, project name and address, and bid due date.
That’s exactly where overflow support helps. Valente Estimating can take on extra bids during deadline surges, seasonal peaks, staff absences, or whenever your estimator’s queue is full—without replacing your team or changing the way you work.
Usually 4–7 business days, depending on the project scope and current queue. Rush, STAT, and weekend or holiday production can be quoted when capacity allows.
Three coordinated documents: a confidential materials takeoff, a confidential internal cost breakdown, and a branded client-ready proposal with scope, assumptions, quantities, exclusions, and total contract value. Client-facing documents do not show labor rates or margins.
Pricing is tiered by project size and scope, beginning at $150 for a clean Micro full bid package. Takeoff-only options cost less. The final tier and price are confirmed after reviewing the plans.
New partners pay a 50% deposit to enter the queue; Micro projects are paid in full upfront. The remaining balance is due before final files are released. It remains due and payable even if a partner’s payment delay causes a missed bid deadline.
The first minor revision is included. Additional minor revisions, major scope changes, multiple RFIs, new addenda, or incomplete plans may require a change-work fee or revised quote, and any added cost is explained before work proceeds. If something looks off, call or email. JN would rather review the assumption with a partner than have anyone bid a number they do not trust.
Never. Projects are scheduled first come, first served, and Valente Estimating never double-bids the same trade on a project. Every bid is unique to the contractor, treated as internal work product, and kept 100% confidential. Numbers are never shared or reused.

JN Valente · Owner & Lead Estimator
Every project is reviewed and checked with the care of someone who understands that a bid is more than a total—it is your labor, your risk, your margin, and your reputation.
We don’t work for clients—we build partnerships. Based in Arcola, IL, Valente Estimating serves contractors across the United States as an extension of their business: someone they can call or email with questions, RFIs, or concerns. Assumptions and exclusions are stated plainly, because accuracy and trust both depend on having no hidden surprises. If something looks off, JN would rather hear about it and work through it than let a partner bid the wrong number.
Why Valente
The goal is simple: make your bid tighter, your workflow lighter, and your customer-facing package stronger—then stay available when a question comes up. Your company stays front and center; your estimating partner stays close enough to help.
